HoiChoi launches its first album Larelappa

S I Shumon, a renowned singer and sound engineer, has received several accolades throughout his career. However, November 2 was a special date for him and his band, HoiChoi, as they released their first album, Larelappa, in the presence of legendary musicians from all over the country. The event began with a one-minute silence for the late great musician, Ayub Bachchu. Throughout the event, video packages containing the making of the album and music videos of the songs were shown on the projector.  Larelappa contains 5 songs of various genres all highlighting the versatility of the band members. “I have been a musician since the 90's, and it has been my only passion', says S I Shumon, “Even though I had to go through many intermittent breaks in music, I am glad that we have been able to release this album.” Many staples of the band music industry, including Naquib Khan, Partha Barua, Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu, Labu Rahman, Foad Nasser Babu among others conveyed their best wishes for the talented band.
