Rubel to captain BCB XI in warm-up game

Bangladesh pacer Rubel Hossain will spearhead a BCB XI side against the touring West Indies side in two-day warm-up match at Chattogram's  MA Aziz Stadium on 18 November.

Soumya Sarkar, who returned to the Bangladesh ODI fold recently, playing the third ODI against Zimbabwe has also been included in the match while Fazle Mahmud Rabbi and Nazmul Islam, who were yet to make an impact with the Tigers will feature in the lineup. Middle-order batsman Mohammad Mithun, who made his Test debut at Dhaka during the ongoing second Test against Zimbabwe has also been included.

Nine members of West Indies team arrived today and were set to board a flight to Chattogram at 7:25pm this evening. The remainder of the squad will arrive in three groups on November 15. West Indies will play Bangladesh in the first Test on November 22 at Chattogram.
