Fakhrul breaks down in tears
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today broke down in tears remembering the party Chief Khaleda Zia as he began handing out the party’s nomination to chosen candidates.
Lamenting over the absence of Khaleda, Fakhrul said there is no atmosphere for a free and fair election. “But still, we will go to elections.”
The first nomination was handed to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, now in jail, for Bogura-6 and Bogura-7 constituency.
The BNP leader also prayed for the immediate release of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The nomination letters are being handed out at the Gulshan office of Khaleda.
