Nusrat Faria Mazhar is now a popular name on the list of actors making it big. Starting off as an anchor, both on stage and on television, and doing stints as a radio jockey on Radio Foorti for some time, Faria is now a sought after actor after the release of Ashiqui – a love story, jointly produced by companies from India and Bangladesh. There are also talks of Faria signing up with a production company in Mumbai, India. She took some time out to speak to the Star Weekend team.
What are your three favourite possessions?
My first car, Aashiqui's first song, and a letter from my best friend.
If given 1,00,000 takas, what would you do with it?
I will donate to a school.
What movie are you working on now?
Currently I am working on two different projects. The titles of the projects have not been confirmed as yet.
Which director / directors would you like to work with in the near future?
Imtiaz Ali (Mumbai ), Ashok Pati (my first director).
What is your motto in life?
Work hard and be happy.
When you are not acting, you are…?
A student struggling with studies.
If banished to a far away island, what are the three things you would take with you?
My best friend, lots of water and green tea bags.
What music are you listening to right now?
Any kind of peppy number since, I am working on my dance moves.

Complete your education and do whatever you want. This will help you in the long run.
