POISONING OURSELVES: The dark water of Surma testifies how polluted the river that passes by Sylhet city has become over the years. Not only are residents poisoning the river, but also consuming the water, directly or indirectly. Traders regularly take water from this spot to clean fish before sale at Kazir Bazar market.
