21 Bangladeshi trespassers return from India
Twenty-one Bangladeshi citizens, including two women, returned home through Sutarkandi Check Post under Beanibazar upazila in Sylhet on Saturday, after over two years in Indian jail for trespassing.
They are from different parts of the country and 19 of them have been handed over to their families, Abani Shankar Kar, officer-in-charge of Beanibazar Police Station said.

They all served up to four years' jail term at Silchar Central Jail and after a negotiation with the government, returned to Bangladesh.
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over the Bangladeshis to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel at the border check post and BGB then handed them over to local police.
The OC of Beanibazaar Police Station said, “Police cross-checked their identity, contacted their family members and 19 have been handed over to their families. One woman is still waiting for her family to receive her, while a 22-year-old man's family is yet to be located.”
