Quora launches Bengali service
Quora, an online question and answer platform, has launched its service in Bangla after a successful beta phase.
Anyone can join Quora Bengali at bn.quora.com or through the mobile app, a press release of Quora says.
With this latest addition, Quora is now available in 17 languages.
People use this platform to ask questions or solutions, share knowledge, and learn from others to better understand the world.
"There are Bengali-speaking people who are using Quora in English, and now that we are opening Quora in Bengali we hope it will help increase the participation from even more Bengali-speaking people,” Adam D’Angelo, CEO and Founder of Quora said.
In December, Quora launched a beta version in Bengali with a small group of people. In just a few months, the platform has grown with quality content provided by personalities from different sectors, according to the press release.
Quora was founded in 2009 by Adam D'Angelo, former CTO of Facebook. It was launched in 2010 and currently the platform has more than 300 million unique visitors per month, the press release read.
