Liton made chief whip of 11th parliament

Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury Liton, lawmaker from Madaripur-1 constituency, has been made the chief whip of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad by President Abdul Hamid today.

The parliament secretariat issued a gazette notification in this regard this noon just before the maiden session of 11th parliament was set to take place.

The president also appointed six ruling AL lawmakers as whips.

The Whips are: Atiur Rahman Atik, Panchanan Biswas, Iqbalur Rahim, Mahbub Ara Begum Gini, Shamsul Huq Chowdhury and Abu Sayeed Al Mahmud Swapan.
