Be a good human for your country

“First and foremost, you must be a good human being if you want to work for your country,” said Prof Abdullah Abu Sayeed at a programme in Chattogram city yesterday.

He addressed school students during a prize distribution ceremony for Bishwo Shahitto Kendro's (BSK) reading initiative on Chattogram City Corporation Municipal Model School and College ground.

The programmme was jointly organised by BSK and Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) with support from Grameenphone.

Prof Sayeed, also the founder of BSK, urged students to read more and more books to open their minds and change the society.

While addressing the programme, Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin said BSK can now conduct their activities in Chattogram using the newly built permanent library building of CCC.
