Walk-through before watching - Avengers: Endgame

This April, Avengers: Endgame, the twenty-second film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is about to hit the theatres. Set against the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic universe, the forthcoming superhero movie promises to alter the catastrophe caused by Thanos in the prequel, Avengers: Infinity War (2018).  Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, among others. The film is set to be released on April 26, 2019. But before heading towards the theatres, a glimpse of the previous ventures surely elevates the movie experience. Starting with Iron Man (2008), the first phase of the superhero franchise includes The Incredible Hulk (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011), Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and The Avengers (2012). The second phase began with Iron Man 3 (2013), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and Ant-Man (2015).  The third phase comprises Captain America: Civil War (2016), Doctor Strange (2016), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), and finally Captain Marvel (2019).
