Rain, thundershower likely over country

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country, said a Met Office bulletin here today.

Country’s highest temperature on Monday was recorded 36.0 degree Celsius at Sitakunda in Chattogram division and the lowest was recorded 15.9 degree Celsius today at Srimangal in Sylhet division.

The sun sets today at 6.12pm and rises at 5.56am tomorrow in the capital.
