Engineer found dead in Dinajpur

An engineer of Maddhapara Granite Mining Company Ltd (MGMCL) was found dead at his residence in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur today.

Deceased Nur Alam Siddiqui, 40, was an assistant engineer at the MGMCL’s electric department, our Dinajpur correspondent reports quoting Zabed Chowdhury, managing director of the company.

The cause of his death could not be known immediately.

Police recovered his body from his dormitory at noon and sent it to M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital for autopsy, said Mokhlesur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Parbatipur Police Station.
