While the last couple of days have been full of anxiety due to cyclone Fani, nature sure has a way of blessing us with beautiful surprises. Yesterday’s rain accompanied by gusty wind not only brought the temperature down, but also set this walkway in Ramna Park ablaze with crimson petals of Krishnachura. The authorities removed parts of the metal floor of a Bailey bridge on the Savar-Bhakuta road and raised the edges of the gaping hole so that heavy vehicles cannot use the bridge not meant for them.
