107 schools with 100% fail rates

In this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations, a total of 107 institutions have seen zero pass rate.

Last year the number stood at 109.

From what could be known so far, one each under Rajshahi, Jashore Dinajpur boards and two schools under Barishal have faced the debacle while 43 institutions under technical education boards have experienced the same.

Education Minister Dipu Moni has said that necessary steps will be taken after scrutinising the facts why those schools displayed such a poor show.
