Father, son die in Magura road crash

A father and his five-year-old son died in a road accident in Magura this evening.

The incident took place around 8:30pm on Dhaka-Magura highway when they fell on the road after their motorcycle lost control on their way from Ichakha Bazar area to Magura and a microbus ran over them, reports our Jhenidah correspondent quoting police.

The deceased were identified as Krishna Biswas, 40, and his son Samyo Biswas, 5, said Md Saiful Islam, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Magura Sadar Police Station.

Samyo and his father died on the spot while his mother sustained injuries in the accident, the OC added.
