Ruman wins bronze in Archery World Cup
Bangladesh's best recurve archer Ruman Sana won bronze medal in recurve individual event of Hyunday Archery World Cup in Netherlands today, beating Mauro Nepsoli of Italy by 7-1 set points.
The 24-year-old archer, who had already ensured qualification for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after making it to the last four in this event, claimed his first podium finish in the World Cup with this dominating display against the Italian.
Ruman took the first set by 28-27 points before edging the Italian 29-28 in the second set. Nepsoli fought back to draw 29-29 in the third set to take the tie to the fourth set, which Ruman won by 29-27 points.
