Newborn found dead in DU premises

A body of a newborn boy was found in front of the teacher's quarter of Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall of Dhaka University today.

On information, police recovered from a cement bag around 12noon, Ehsan, sub-inspector of Shahbagh Police Station told The Daily Star.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy, he said.

Further detail of the incident could not be known immediately.
