Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has convened a full court meeting on Monday with all the High Court judges to take decisions on issues including promotion of lower court judges.

The meeting will be held at 3:30pm on Monday at Administration Building-4 of the Supreme Court.

The meeting may take a decision about promotion of around 170 lower court judges to the post of district judge, a SC source said.

After the meeting, the SC will send the decision to the Law Ministry for taking necessary steps, according to the source.
