Parliament today reconstituted five parliamentary standing committees incorporating BNP and Gonoforum MPs as members in those parliamentary watchdogs.

BNP lawmaker from Brahmanbaria-2 Abdus Sattar Bhuiyan was included in the Business Advisory Committee.

Abdus Sattar was also made the member of the committee of Private Member's Bills and Resolutions.

BNP's Chapainawabganj-3 lawmaker M Harunur Rashid was made a member of House Committee.

Another BNP MP elected from reserved seats for women in parliament Rumeen Farhana was made a member of the Standing Committee on Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

The house also included Gonoforum MP Sultan Muhammed Mansur Ahmed as a member of Privilege Committee while another Gonoforum MP Mukabbir Khan was made a member of the Library Committee.

The committees were reconstituted as proposed by the chief whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhrury which was passed by voice vote.
