Imran Ahmed appointed as minister
Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid has appointed Imran Ahmed, Awami League lawmaker of Sylhet-4 constituency, as minister and Begum Fazilatun Nessa, woman MP from reserved seat-23, as state minister.
The Cabinet Division of the government issued a gazette notification in this regard yesterday.
Imran Ahmed has been performing the role of state minister for Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment prior to this new appointment.
The newly appointed minister and state minister will take oath tomorrow evening, according to Cabinet Division sources.
