Mymensingh Nazrul Academy welcomes monsoon

Mymensingh Nazrul Academy recently organised a musical soiree at the local Shilpakala Academy auditorium, featuring a number of talented young artistes. With the tagline Badol Borishone Rochi Surer Arghya, the event was scripted by Sumon Munna, a professor of the Department of English at Bangabandhu Govt College, and directed by Ustad Chayan Set and Ashik Sarker Tushar. The musical soiree was complemented with monsoon-centric poems by the artistes. The line-up for the evening included artistes Anjana Sarker Moni, Antora Devi, Monisha Saha, Bilkis Khanam Papri, Nibedita Shelly, Otri, Shuvo, Nandan Robi Das and Dipa Ghosh. Subir Dhar Bilu, Director of Mymensingh Nazrul Academy delivered the welcome speech at the event, while Sarwar Jahan anchored the event.
