Élite
Élite is a Spanish teen drama web television series released on Netflix. It stars María Pedraza, Itzan Escamilla and Miguel Bernardeau, among others, with Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona as the directors, and Francisco Ramos as the producer of the show. The series focuses on a murder, and its connection with the students of an elite school, and shows the bond the characters form with one another throughout the story. It was originally released on October 5, 2018, and currently has one season with eight episodes, with a second season expected to be released on September 6, 2019.
Aziz Ansari: Right Now
Aziz Ansari: Right Now is an American stand-up comedy special on Netflix. It has been directed by Spike Jonze, who also produced the special, alongside Jason Baum. On the show, Aziz Ansari talks about issues such as sexual misconduct and racism, in a light and humorous manner. It was originally released on July 9, 2019, under the banner of 3 Arts Entertainment, Pulse Films and Oh Brudder Productions.
Kousalya Krishnamurthy
Kousalya Krishnamurthy is a Telugu drama, released on August 23, 2019. It stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Sivakarthikeyan and Rajendra Prasad, among others. The film, which was directed by Bhimaneni and Srinivasa Rao, and produced under Creative Commercials, follows the life of Kousalya, an aspiring international female cricketer, who wants to make her father proud by winning a match. It is a remake of the film, Kanaa.
Evaru
Evaru is a Telugu crime-thriller, starring Regina Cassandra, Naveen Chandra and Adivi Sesh, among others. It is based on the Spanish film, The Invisible Guest. It was written and directed by Venkat Ramji, and produced under the banner of PVP Cinema. The plot follows a sub-inspector, Vikram Vasudevan, who’s in charge of solving a case about the murder of a police official. It was first released on August 15, 2019.
Dark
Dark is a German science fiction web series, starring Louis Hofmann, Andreas Pietschmann and Dietrich Hollinderbäumer, among others. It has been created by Jantje Friese with Baran bo Odar, who also produced the film, alongside others. The series is set in a fictional town, named Winden. The story revolves around four families, who, upon the mysterious disappearance of a child, discover dark secrets and conspiracies about time travel. The second season was released on June 21, 2019, on Netflix. It is available in German with English subtitles.
