DID YOU KNOW: When Anand died, Amitabh Bachchan’s character, Dr. Bhaskar was seen crying and cuddling the lifeless body. Later, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he was actually laughing in that shot. The film took a little bit of inspiration from the 1952 film, Ikiru, directed by Akira Kurosawa.
