4.64kg gold recovered from Biman flight
A preventive team of Dhaka Customs House recovered 4.64 kilogrames of gold worth Tk 2.32 crore from an incoming flight of Bangladesh Biman from Dubai at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport this morning.
Based on a tip off, the preventive team officials conducted the drive and recovered the 40 gold bars, said Sazzad Hossain, assistant commissioner of customs in Dhaka.
The gold bars were hidden under a seat of flight no. BG048 of the national carrier that arrived at the airport around 6:10am from Dubai, the customs official also said.
