The minaret of the Nayasarak mosque in Sylhet city fell on the road and injured two motorcyclists yesterday. Witnesses said reconstruction work of the mosque have been going on under the supervision of Sylhet City Corporation. While workers were trying to knock down the old minaret with a bulldozer, it fell on the road, damaging an electric pole and causing the casualties.
