Robot Olympiad: 15-member team left for Thailand

A 15-member Bangladesh team today left for Thailand to attend the 21st International Robot Olympiad (IRO).

Bangladesh is going to attend the event for the second time that will be held in Chiangmai in Thailand from 16 to 20 December, where the team will have to compete against the students of 14 different countries.

Last year, Bangladesh won a gold medal, two highly-commended medals and one technical medal in the event that has held in the Philippines.

To join the Chiangmai event the Bangladesh Robot Olympiad (BDRO) has organised different activation programs at 50 educational institutions of 25 districts where about 4,000 students attend.

For this even, the BDRO gets ICT division, bKash and Rupali Bank as their sponsors.
