Sabila Nur gears up for a busy year

Television actor Sabila Nur has charmed her fans with her vibrant personality and acting prowess over the years. In a recent conversation with The Daily Star, she talks about her busy schedules, upcoming projects and more.

Tell us about your latest projects.

My first television show this year, Just Friends, aired earlier this month. It was directed by a Mahmudur Rahman Hime. I have also worked on Mista Anan’s Proxy Prem, a Valentine’s Day special. In addition, I have worked in an untitled project directed by Imraul Rafat. My calendar is booked for the next couple of months.

What are your plans for this year?

I have been pigeon-holed for the catty roles that I play. However, in real life, I am not like that at all. I hope to experiment more with the kind of roles that I play this year.

You recently went on a trip to Singapore. Do you enjoy travelling?

My partner Nehal and I love travelling together. We celebrated New Year’s Eve in Singapore. Besides our work and studies, we hope to travel a lot this year.

When you are not in front of the camera, how do you like to spend your time?

 I love watching movies and reading books in my leisure time.
