2 killed as bus hits motorbike in Uttara

Two people were killed as a bus hit their motorbike in Dhaka’s Uttara this afternoon.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

A bus of Abhi Paribhan hit a motorcycle near Uttara (east) Police Station around 12:30pm, leaving them injured critically, Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost, told The Daily Star.

They were taken to the DMCH where doctors declared them dead, the inspector said.

Noor-e-Alam Siddiqui, officer-in-charge of Uttara (east) Police Station, said that they seized the bus and arrested its driver.
