Marvel Cinematic Universe's, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is facing a drastic change as filmmaker Scott Derrickson has decided to no longer be a part of this project as a director. However, he will remain attached to this project as an executive producer. It has been stated that due to creative differences, Marvel Studios and Scott Derrickson have agreed to mutually part ways. The film will begin its production in May. The search for a replacement is currently underway. The movie is scheduled to release on May 7, 2021.
