Coronavirus: 5 new thermal scanners supplied to air and land ports
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has supplied five new thermal scanners to international airports and ports across the country.
The DGHS has supplied two thermal scanners for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, one for Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram, one for Osmani International Airport in Sylhet, and one for Benapole land port, Line Director, Centre for Disease Control at DGHS, Dr Shahnila Ferdousi, told The Daily Star.
The lone thermal scanner of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport became dysfunctional last night.
It started working since this noon after repair work, said the director.
