AL, associate bodies cancel all activities on Independence Day

Awami League (AL) and its associate organisations today cancelled all activities marking the country's Independence Day.

AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced the party's decision at a press briefing at his secretariat office in the capital this noon.

The decision has been taken considering the coronavirus outbreak in the country, he said.

He urged people to follow the instructions in a bid to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
