Bank Asia’s Chattogram branch locked down
A branch of Bank Asia has been locked down as a coronavirus positive patient visited the bank two days back.
Chattogram district administration today asked the bank authorities to shut down its all activities due to the patient's visit.
Kamal Hossen, additional deputy commissioner of Chattogram, told our local correspondent that three people tested coronavirus positive on Wednesday. One of them, a garments official, visited the bank on Tuesday, he said.
"As a preemptive, we asked the bank to shut its all activities and put it under lockdown from Thursday," he said.
In the meantime, five colleagues of the garments official were asked to be in home quarantine as they came in contact with the man, he added.
