5 Supreme Court officials asked to remain on duty for 24 hours
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has directed five Supreme Court officials including its registrar general to discharge duty round the clock for taking necessary measures for Covid-19 treatment to its judges during the pandemic.
The Supreme Court administration issued a notification to this effect yesterday asking the five officials to keep their mobiles active for 24 hours every day.
The other four officials are: Appellate Division's Registrar Badrul Alam Bhuiyan, High Court Division's Registrar Golam Rabbani, its Additional Registrar Mohammad Osman Haider and its Special Officer Mohammad Saifur Rahman.
