Rana Dasgupta, wife diagnosed with Covid-19
Rana Dasgupta, general secretary of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad, and his wife have tested Covid-19 positive.
Both Rana Dasgupta, also a senior prosecutor of International Crimes Tribunal, and his wife gave samples for coronavirus test two days back and received results last night, ICT Prosecutor Taposh Kanti Baul told The Daily Star.
He is suffering from fever and coughing, the prosecutor said.
Rana Dasgupta, who is now in Chattogram, will be shifted to a private hospital shortly, he said adding, "We are also planning to bring him in Dhaka once we get an air ambulance."
