Biman starts seat allocation for Saudi passengers

Biman Bangladesh Airlines is allocating seats in phases for Saudi-bound passengers, re-issuing old tickets without any charge.

There is no opportunity to re-issue of Biman Bangladesh Airlines' tickets from anywhere other than Biman's own ticket center, the civil aviation ministry said in a release.

The press release said it has been noticed recently that some dishonest agencies and individuals are conducting propaganda on social media or various platforms to re-issue tickets to Saudi Arabia in exchange for money, the release.

"Such acts are a punishable offense. Everyone is being requested not to get involved in such activities. Legal action will be taken against those involved in such criminal activities," the release also said.

The ministry requested the Saudi-bound passengers to beware of such scams.
