Govt physicians can’t serve at pvt healthcare organisations during work hours
No government physician will be allowed to serve at private healthcare organisations during office hour.
If any government physician works at private healthcare organisations during office hour, he/she must inform the health ministry taskforce or high-ups concerned.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the health ministry's taskforce committee with Mostafa Kamal, additional secretary (Public Health-1) and convener of the taskforce in the chair.
Other decisions taken at the meeting include: all private hospitals, diagnostic centres, laboratories and clinics have to display license number clearly, the taskforce will visit and conduct drive against illegal private healthcare organisations, and application from private healthcare organisations which have not applied for license by November 16 will not be accepted anymore.
Shibbir Osmani, member secretary of the taskforce; Dr Farid Hossain Mian, director of hospitals and clinics at the health directorate; joint secretaries Salma Tanzia and Shaila Farzana attended the meeting among others.
