Why this hartal-blockade?

Due to continuous blockades and hartals, the country's economy is facing severe loss. Innocent people are dying all around us, properties are getting vandalised, schools are remaining closed. Everyone is suffering; especially the sufferings of the poor and lower income groups are beyond imagination. So why this hartal-blockade? For whom? We want the politicians to bring an end to this situation right now.
