The written test results for the 35th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations were published yesterday with 6,088 candidates coming out successful.

Of them, 3,228 have passed in the general cadre category, 1,861 in the general and technical/professional and 926 in the technical/professional category, according to www.bpsc.gov.bd.

The viva-voce will begin on January 31.

More than 20,000 applicants sat for the test on September last year, vying for 1,803 government posts.
