Haimanti Sukla features Samarjit Roy in latest release

Eminent singer Haimanti Sukla's new composition, "Kichu Kichu Raat" featured talented Bangladeshi singer Samarjit Roy. The song was released online recently, on Samarjit's YouTube channel. The duo's first duet, "Tumi Bhorer Pakhir Moto" was released last year, to critical acclaim.

This is the first time that Haimanti Sukla has composed a number for another singer. Over the years, the two have shared a bond of love, respect, and affection towards each other, and thus, this original melody offers an unparalleled soothing experience to its audience.

"I adore Samarjit a lot and I must say, he is very talented indeed. One day, he asked me to compose a song -- but I am, by no means, a music director. We had worked together before and this time, he has motivated and inspired me to get it done," says the legendary singer. "There is no doubt Samarjit's lyrics have outdone my tune."

"Kichu Kichu Raat" has been programmed by Ranodeep Manu, recorded by A B Limon, mixed and mastered by Goutam Basu, and edited by Prem Prakash Karn. Lens Plus wrote the cinematography of this music video.

This experience has turned out to be a rather memorable one for Samarjit Roy. "When I talked to Haimanti Di for the composition, she was very interested. Having the privilege to give voice to her tune was once in a lifetime opportunity for me," shares Samarjit Roy, also did the arrangement for the track.  "I wanted to seize this opportunity, and tried my best to do justice to it. She liked the lyrics very much, and had sent me the first draft within just an hour. Being the first one to receive such a historic opportunity is a career milestone for me," he adds.

To celebrate the song, Haimanti Sukla and Samarjit Roy will be on live today from BBP Worldwide's official Facebook page at 9 pm (BDT). The duo also looks forward to entertaining their fans with live performances at tonight's event.
