Maldives’ foreign minister to arrive in Dhaka tomorrow

Maldives' Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid will arrive in Dhaka tomorrow on a three-day visit. 

During his visit, Abdulla Shahid will hold a bilateral meeting with his Bangladesh counterpart AK Abdul Momen on February 9, a statement of the foreign ministry said today.

The foreign minister of Maldives is also expected to pay courtesy calls on the president and the prime minister of Bangladesh.

AK Abdul Momen and Abdulla Shahid will also witness the signing of an MoU on cooperation between the Bangladesh Foreign Service Academy and the Foreign Service Institute of Maldives.
