[WATCH] A tribute to Glen Frey with 6 Eagles classics
The rock legend Glenn Frey, also a founder member of American rock band Eagles, passed away on Monday aged 67.
Eagles sold more than 150 million albums in the course of their career, and six of their albums topped the charts, with their warm and enchanting songs written by Glenn Frey and Don Henley which made the band one of the most successful one in the 1970s, reports Mashable.
Besides giving words to the tunes, Frey played the guitar with the band, as well as piano and keyboards. He was also one of the lead vocals of the Eagles alongside Don Henley, and had given voice to some of their most popular songs such as "Take It Easy", "Peaceful Easy Feeling", "Tequila Sunrise", "Already Gone", "Lyin' Eyes", "New Kid in Town", and "Heartache Tonight".
Here are six of the finest songs of the Eagles from the early and mid-70s, known as the golden age of country-rock, as a tribute to Glenn Frey and his enormous contribution to rock music. Among the songs, four were co-written by Frey.
