JS body summons ACC over BASIC Bank scam

The parliamentary standing committee on finance ministry has summoned Anti-Corruption Commission over the BASIC Bank scam, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.

The committee has sent a letter to Abu Mohammad Mostafa, secretary of the anti-graft watchdog, regarding the issue recently, reports the daily.

In the letter, the ACC’s investigation committee has been asked to appear before the parliamentary standing committee on January 28.

The letter was signed by Mostak Ahmed, secretary of the parliamentary committee.
