Healthcare at home with DocTime
In an effort to increase the need and open a new door to healthcare, DocTime has brought fully digital telemedicine services to Bangladesh. In this app, a patient can find a doctor from various ranges of registered physicians, get consultation on video call by paying the consultation fee. At the end of the consultation, the doctor immediately uploads the e-prescription which the patient can download from the App.
All doctors on DocTime platform are minimum MBBS degree qualified and BMDC certified.
There is an option for patients to request home delivery of the required medicines from authorized vendors as per the prescription from the DocTime app. The app also has features for follow-up consultations.
Video calls are encrypted and secured by using a 256-bit encryption method, ensuring confidentiality. A patient can make payments through the DocTime app using a range of available payment methods including Bkash, Nagad, Rocket, debit and credit card, etc.
DocTime also stores a patient's previous medical profile and prescriptions and one user can use DocTime for the entire family.
DocTime is a joint venture and invested by investors from Bangladesh and the United Kingdom. All its activities are being conducted from its offices in Dhaka and London. According to DocTime founder Anowar Hossain, "Rich or Poor, urban or rural, people deserve quality healthcare. Our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of the population we serve. Our vision is to take our services to every village in Bangladesh at affordable cost."
