Messi keeps his promise to a Brazilian fan

Lionel Messi came out of the tight security bubble of his hotel to fulfill the dream of one Brazilian fan who, as Messi found out on social media, had his iconic celebration against Real Madrid tattooed on his back.

Accompanied by the Albiceleste security chief, Messi approached the fences despite the resistance of local security and signed the impressive tattoo that a Brazilian fan made on his back with one of Messi's emblematic images with Barcelona. Hours later, the fan immortalized the signature on his skin with another tattoo.

The Argentine team were departing for a practice session ahead of their game against Paraguay tomorrow and before getting on the team bus, Messi signed the fan's back.

The fan, named Igor, is a military firefighter from the municipality of Sobradinho, Brasilia. The tattoo cost him 10,000 reais, something like 200,000 Argentine pesos, and the tattoo was done in three sessions of 12 hours each. He has been carrying Messi's tattoo on his back since 2019.

Images of Igor's tattoo flooded social media after TyC Sports first captured it. The images reached Messi too and he reacted on Instagram.

"Terrible tattoo, I loved it ", Messi reacted to the madness of his fan. He also left a message: "I would like to see him and sign it."
