320 arrested, 208 fined for violating Covid-19 restrictions in Dhaka city

At least 320 people were arrested and 208 people were fined on the second day of the seven-day "strict lockdown" in the capital for defying Covid-19 restrictions and health guidelines.

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) sent information about this development to the media this afternoon.

Besides, traffic division of the DMP fined 68 vehicles of various kinds Tk 1,19,900 for violating Covid-19 restrictions, the DMP added.
