Renowned Indian actor Deepika Padukone has signed her second Hollywood film, a cross-cultural rom-com that she will also produce under her banner Ka Productions.

Deepika, who made her international debut opposite Vin Diesel in 2017's "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage", will play the lead in a project being developed by STXFilms.

 "Ka Productions was founded with the aim to develop and produce purposeful content with global appeal. I'm thrilled to be partnering with STXFilms and Temple Hill Productions, who share Ka's ambition and creative vision and look forward to bringing impactful and dynamic cross-cultural stories to the world," the actor shared in a statement.

Deepika turned producer in 2020 with her film "Chhapaak". She has also announced the Indian adaptation of the international film "The Intern" under her banner.

 She stars in the film alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Besides this, Deepika also has Shakun Batra's upcoming domestic noir film, "Fighter" with Hrithik Roshan, and "Project-K" with Prabhas, among her upcoming projects.
