Online marketplace Daraz has launched a special campaign to celebrate its seventh anniversary along with expressing gratitude to its customers and well-wishers.

To commemorate this milestone, Daraz Bangladesh, a concern of Alibaba Group, has chalked out elaborate plans, programmes and campaigns, the company said in a statement today.

Driven by the #ThankYouBangladesh slogan, Daraz will run an online festival for their customers from September 2 to September 8. During the campaign, customers will be able to avail different offers and deals.

Mystery box, shake shake voucher, mega deals with up to Tk 7,000 off, prepayment discount, I love voucher and flash sale are part of this anniversary campaign, according to the statement.

The announcement of the seventh anniversary campaign came from a digital press conference from their official Facebook page on August 26.

"The last seven years have been amazing and memorable for Daraz for various reasons. Cross-sections of people have showered love on us unconditionally, and we are now the most sought-after e-commerce platform in the country. I am thankful to all those people who have accompanied us through thick and thin. As a token of love, we have come up with amazing offers and deals as part of the anniversary campaign for our customers. Let the celebration begin," said Syed Mostahidal Hoq, managing director of Daraz Bangladesh.

Bjarke Mikkelsen, group CEO of Daraz; Syed Mostahidal Hoq, managing director of Daraz Bangladesh Ltd; Md Tajdin Hassan, chief marketing officer, and Khondoker Tasfin Alam, chief operating officer, attended the campaign launch event along with actor Mehazabien Chowdhury, according to the statement.
