Aruni Sarkar has invented 6 new climate resistant varieties of Aman rice. This farmer from Gangarampur village of Batiaghata upazila of Khulna had the dream of inventing new varieties of Aman to bring high rice yield in the southwestern region of the country.

His dream has now led to local cultivation of these new varieties of rice.
