‘Cox's Bazar being connected to rest of the country by air for tourists’
State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali today said Cox's Bazar is being connected to different parts of the country by air to attract more tourists.
"As part of the plan, direct flights have already been launched on the Sylhet-Cox's Bazar route recently and Saidpur-Cox's Bazar route today," he said while speaking during a press conference at Cox's Bazar after launching Biman's direct flight on Saidpur-Cox's Bazar-Saidpur route.
The launching of direct flights on Saidpur-Cox's Bazar route enables tourists from the northern part of the country to come directly to Cox's Bazar and vise-versa, he added.
The national flag carrier will operate direct flights from Saidpur to Cox's Bazar every Thursday at 9:20am and every Saturday at 1:25pm from Cox's Bazar to Saidpur.
