Usain Bolt started running after hearing motivational speaker say ‘life is a race’

Legendary Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has revealed the secret behind his immense success.  

He admitted that a Bangladeshi motivational speaker, Runman Happy, and one sentence he uttered was the turning point in his life.

"When I heard the sentence 'life is a race' in one of his speeches, I started to run. Since then I have been running and running. This long run has helped me win those gold medals in the Olympics," Usain Bolt said in a talk show hosted by an amateur Bangladeshi host, who joined the Zoom call an hour late.

"You won't be winning any races," said Bolt when the host finally joined the call.

Pundits have long been trying to find the reason behind Bolt's immense success and lightning speed. Some called it natural and some called it a God-gifted ability. But no one ever even dreamt that it was just a line. Motivational speakers are often belittled.

Bangladesh may not have won many (any) Olympic medals, but a Bangladeshi actually helped a Jamaican man win eight gold medals and that too with just one sentence.

"I was sad because I couldn't join the motivational seminar in person; I watched his motivational speeches on video. One day, he said 'life is a race'. I didn't understand the meaning. So, I started running. I was always running. I ran to school. I couldn't stop running lest the speech should become a lie. And see what I am now," Usain Bolt said.

"Even the famous Hollywood movie Forrest Gump couldn't motivate as much as the Bangladeshi motivational speaker did. I am totally indebted to him," he added.

As the interview went viral, so did Happy. All the criticism turned to applause. Tickets for his next "motivation session" were sold out within minutes at a premium rate. 

Reports suggested that youths bought tickets with bank loans.

"I took a bank loan at high interest rates and sold my iPhone to buy the ticket," a young man said after successfully buying a ticket.

"I cannot miss the next line of his speech. Who knows? I may become the next Usain Bolt of Bangladesh! So, I bought the ticket after breaking up with my girlfriend in order to save date money," another young man said.

Satireday caught up with Happy and asked him about going more viral than he already was. "Sorry, guys. I cannot talk now. Catch me give my next motivational speech. I am running now. Don't forget that 'life is a race'."
